Load Cell
Loadcells are load sensors used in almost all present day weighing systems. Loadcells measure weights based on voltage changes resulting from the applied forces. These changes are converted to weights and transmitted to an electronic display. Loadcells come in many types and sizes including strain gauge loadcells, tension loadcells, bending loadcells, shear loadcells, and compression loadcells.Compression loadcells are used in theconstruction of truck weighbridges. Tension loadcells are used in hanging and crane scales. Bending loadcells are used in commercial scales and weighing systems. Each type of loadcellis offered in various commercial classes marked from C3, for the lowest class, to C6, for the highest class. Loadcell classification represents its different characteristics including its accuracy, capacity, and standard divisions. Loadcells are identified by their important features including, safe electric load limit, maximum safe mechanical load, corrected temperature range, operating temperature range, storage temperature range, input voltage trigger range, minimum measurable value, nominal output, input impedance, output impedance, output error, zero error, combined error, creepage, repeatability error, temperature effects on (unloaded) loadcell sensitivity.

Sartorius |
The PR 6221 range of load cells are designed exclusively for use on road weighbridges. The unique design principle, combined with the installation kits counterbalances movements caused by mechanical or thermal expansion or contraction of the weighbridge construction.
