From May 19 to May 23, 2019, the 8^th International Conference on Weigh-In-Motion (ICWIM8) was held in Prague, Czech Republic. This year's Conference included series of scientific and technical sessions, where best practices and the application of WIM data was discussed.  The conference addressed range of technical topics related to heavy vehicles and weight and size measurement systems…

For this event, hundreds of technical Papers were submitted to ICWIM8 Scientific Committee for selection, out of which only thirty one Papers were accepted for Presentation during the Conference.

At the conclusion of the Conference, in recognition of the best accepted scientific paper among all papers submitted, the Selection Committee of 8th International Conference on Weigh-In-Motion presented The Best Paper Award to Dr. Fatemeh HEIDARI and Dr. Morteza POUYAN, for the paper entitled: Application of Deep Learning Technique in High Speed Weigh-In-Motion Systems for Direct Enforcement!
